"At the beginning of Dental Focus back in 2001, my very first dental website design was for my father (Dr Vinod Joshi) when he was the Consultant in Restorative Dentistry in Bradford and Wakefield for his 'Restorative Dentistry Oncology Clinic' (RDOC).
Together, we were passionate in creating more freedom for his cancer patients to share their stories with one another. We created the most remarkable online community and support group for patients, carers and survivors. The information portal was a true game-changer. RDOC evolved and is now known as the "Mouth Cancer Foundation" (MCF) registered charity, which I co-founded in 2004 with my father and continue to be an active Trustee in my capacity as President.
The MCF believes in saving lives and improving lives through early detection of mouth, head and neck cancers. Dental Focus has always donated its time and resources to grow the charity. We also walk 10km every year with the dental profession, families, carers and survivors to raise awareness and support.

Each year Dental Focus's CEO Krishan Joshi helps to promote, and takes part in, the Mouth Cancer Walk.
he Mouth Cancer 10 KM Awareness Walk is designed to increase awareness of mouth cancer, celebrate survivorship, create an opportunity to meet friends, remember lost dear ones, and also have a fun day!
